Multiplayer Etiquette
Most multiplayer problems start with expectations, not malice. Players fight because nobody agreed on loot, vehicles, guns or base rules.
The Zombies Are Not The Only Threat
On a server, the most common run-ending threat is not a horde — it is a misunderstanding. Someone took the wrong car, emptied the wrong container, or fired a gun nobody agreed to fire.
Basic Etiquette
- Ask before taking rare tools
- Do not move someone else’s car without telling them
- Do not fire guns near base without warning
- Label containers clearly
- Replace fuel if you use shared vehicles
- Do not lead hordes home
- Announce bites honestly
- Respect safehouse boundaries
Group Survival Rule
If your action creates risk for the group, communicate before doing it. That single habit prevents the large majority of server conflict.
“Fight along fences so zombies reach you one at a time.”
