Towing Guide
Towing lets you move wrecks, rescue broken cars and bring useful vehicles back to base. It also makes driving slower, louder and harder to control.
Towing Is Useful, But Not Always Safe
Towing is a genuine tool — it clears roads, rescues stranded vehicles and lets you build a fleet. But a towed load turns every handling weakness into a bigger one. Plan towing trips; never improvise them under pressure.
Good Uses For Towing
- Clearing a blocked road near your base
- Moving a good car that has no fuel or a dead battery
- Bringing a repair project home
- Removing wrecks from access points
- Moving storage vehicles into a fenced compound
Bad Uses For Towing
- Towing through dense urban streets
- Towing while tired or panicked
- Towing without scouting the route first
- Towing through unknown zombie density
- Towing during helicopter-event chaos
Survivor Tip
Survivor TipScout the route first. Towing turns every mistake into a slower mistake — and slow mistakes are the ones zombies catch up to.
Survivor Tip
“Burn through fresh and frozen food first; the power will not last.”
