Louisville
Louisville is where overconfidence goes to die.
Danger Rating
Louisville is the largest city in the game and by far the most dangerous. Zombie density is extreme, sightlines are short, and the sheer scale means a fight that goes wrong has nowhere to go. It is endgame content, not a destination.
Loot Quality
The reward matches the risk: Louisville holds the densest, highest-value loot in Knox County — malls, gun stores, countless commercial buildings. A well-run Louisville raid can supply a base for a very long time.
Best Neighbourhoods
The city outskirts and suburban fringe are the only realistic entry points. Survivors stage from the edges, raid inward in small bites, and never let themselves get pulled deep into the urban core.
Gun Store And Hospital Locations
Louisville gun stores are premier firearm hauls and premier death traps — high zombie density guards every one. The hospitals hold valuable medical supplies under the same condition. Both demand a plan, a car and a clear exit.
Escape Routes
Never enter Louisville without a mapped way out. The bridges and main arteries are chokepoints that can fill with zombies; identify your exit before you commit, and leave the moment a raid stops going to plan.
Beginner Viability
None. Louisville should be attempted only by survivors with strong skills, good equipment, a reliable vehicle and the discipline to retreat. It is the final exam of Knox County.
